Currently we are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our professional team.
Your primary responsibility is to develop and execute test strategies for developed system. You willfollow the agile methodology and its practices of test driven development and automated testingensuring all software is delivered to the high quality group standard. This hands-on role will include manual testing as well as some automation, working closely with teams.
Your task:
Create and maintain test plans, conducting tests and providing status and test reportsPerform all aspects of testing including system, integration, regression and UATDesign, develop and utilise automated test scriptsDevelop and execute test cases and maintain associated test records.Set up and maintain test environments.Produce and present testing status and status summaries to management
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
Strong testing experience, (minimum 3 years experience) in testing/Quality assurance covering Functional, Integration and Performance testingThe ability to “think outside of the box” and test in an exploratory mannerTo demonstrate knowledge of the SDLC including the ability to assist in and providefeedback related to activities of system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing,and load/performance testingThe ability to design and execute tests dynamically without a specificationThe ability to design and build test cases/procedures to an approved specificationTesting experience in a multi-tiered application environmentThe ability to test both front-end and back-end components independentlyIntermediate knowledge of Windows/UNIX/Linux platformsDatabase knowledge & SQL skills
Culturally, we are looking for an independent, self-starter, with a keen interest in computers and I.T.You’ll be highly organised with great attention to detail, and have finely tuned problem solving skills, and a high level of verbal and written communication ability.
